Appy is not the only place in Wise County that things are going on in, but for some reason they are shining the spot light right on that small town. Some people higher up tried to close the school, and couldn't so I guess now they are trying another route at getting all the land around Appy to mine. Makes you wonder. Wise County has a lot worse things going on dealing with drugs, but for some reason they have closed their eyes to that and are focusing only on little old Appy. The people in Appy have always fought adversity and they will again. Stand Strong!

I dont know who you think you are or where you are from, but I have a really good idea. But those from Appalachia have just as much right to their homes and community as any other. And the only reason you want to turn Applachia into a lake is so that you guys will have water next year when there is another BIG shortage!
